So, here it is.. What it is.. PwC india, Kolkata location is really bad. I had mixed feelings but after giving partner round & hr rounds.. I sense that.. They hv ego inbuilt for no reason.. "Big4", trying to sell d brand.. But culture is toxic.. I spoke to 1 HR over LinkedIn from pwc she was kind enough to share the salary range for my YOE & tech domain.. But the actual HR gave 50% less than that & trying to sell Big4.. No mam.. U r wrong..! If big4 then pay premium salary. @ey.Deloitte KPMG PwC

Hello everyone, good Morning.
Started at $70k in 2017, received my PMP in 2019 and now I am at $145k. Hopefully that helps. I also have my CSM.
Just transitioned from project coordination to management. Starting out at 104 total comp. Hoping to be around 125-135 in the next few years.
I applied for a position within the same company and leveraged overlapping skillsets between PC and PM to prove that I could hack it as a PM. The hiring managers were looking for someone who had company knowledge so that did give me a slight edge.
Depends on how you go in as well. As a full time employee I started off making 65k/year as a fulltime employee. Then I switched over to contracting/1099 status and made $55/hr (110k/year) after a year of experience. I maintained the course as a contractor for 10yrs and now pickup contracts between 90-110/hr ($180k-$220k/year).
I stated @ 90 in 2016 , @ $140 now. If i choose to change companies I expect to be in the $150 range.
Size of projects and having a PMP makes a difference. I’ve paid $50/hour and $250/hour. It makes a huge difference having ERP & CRM implementations vs. a new reporting system.
Larger projects impact many more prone and processes therefore you are higher caliber talent if you can do it.

I pay 165K for experienced RTEs and 125K for experienced Scrum Masters.
Started @ $75k in a hybrid technical PM role now at $125k base for PM only role without any certifications right now.
When i interview new team members for our junior roles I tend to look more at their soft skills: organization, ability to communicate, deal with difficult situations, vs specifically looking for PM experience
How do you start? I have a CS degree and no experience, what can I do? I feel like my CS degree did not prepare me enough. Are there any CS jobs that train?
Thank you so much for your generous wisdom! It’s so refreshing and encouraging to be given straightforward practical advice. I do feel some imposter syndrome in my predicament but knowing that I can do something to gain experience helps tremendously. Thank you!
