McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
Cheers to the long Memorial Day weekend 🇺🇸🥃🙌🏼

It’s reasonable to know if there is a pay increase with the move. The hiring manager and HR should understand that. I’d stay in my current role until there was incentive to move.
To add: I need to let the hiring manager know by this Wednesday my decision before he officially lets HR know. But something seems weird how I have to verbally agree without knowing the exact pay.
You need to see an offer in writing first.
I would love to travel for work so I would definitely take the new role. Especially if it comes with a pay increase. I would try to find out what the exact pay is and see how much of an increase it is.
The vague answer about the compensation is a red flag. They should be able to tell you what it is and not give an odd answer like that. If the pay is worth it, and you can put up with the traveling, then it would make sense. But at this point I think it would be prudent to get the numbers in writing before making a decision.
