Me(jr): asked to lead a call for a different deal as training. Mid-level doesn't take notes (also on call) and tells me it's the job if the junior to take notes.

How many interviews is too many? I’ve done 5 one on ones with different people in the practice group. They want me to talk to a few more, but I’m frustrated. Thoughts on recording meetings. In Texas and have ADHD. I’ve been recording internal meetings for the past couple of weeks and my work product has improved exponentially. I’m able to go back and listen to the directions over again. In law school I had a note that gave me permission to do this. Is this taboo in a firm?

How do you deal with unresponsive summers? I’m a junior and overseeing my first project with summers (5 in total). Two are unresponsive and do not acknowledge my emails. Do I need to make it clear that I expect acknowledgement when I assign work? The other three don’t have a problem with this, so I’m not sure what it is.
