I used to have a fitbit. Really liked a lot of its features. Like the reminder to move and the competition within the app (games and competitionvs friends). However, whenever I was at work I'd find myself taking it off for more comfortable typing and then forgetting it during the day. Now that I'm back at work I'm sitting more and need to move. When discussing a first technical interview with a recruiter how much time do you ask them to give you for preparing for the interview?

I’ve worked at places that all have different holiday policies. EA has at minimum a nice 10 day shutdown from Christmas Eve through New Years. It’s great to know that there will be no slack messages or an exploded inbox to come back to while away. I’ve been at other studios that only give you Christmas Eve & Day and New Years Eve & Day and then the rest is up to you to request for PTO and this is obviously the suck.

So my team currently uses onenote to house all of our SOPs and reference guides, but it’s becoming a monstrosity and it’s really hard to search and navigate. What programs do you use to provide your team with resources? Or is there some trick to onenote organization that we are missing maybe?

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. The new director essentially began shutting me down any time I ask for clarity in my career progression. Now they have taken credit for the project I’ve been building over the past year+ without giving me props whatsoever to higher ups. What is the best plan of action here?

What is your job title? As it right now I’m managing a team of product owners and I’m unofficially being called “Chief Product Owner.” I’m in the process of working with a coach to get my resume updated so I can begin applying for external roles. But I don’t even know what job titles to target.
