May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

I agree. Whatever your philosophy of leadership, it’s ultimately a burden of responsibility. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and I am wary of anyone who is too eager to lead.
Oftentimes, they either haven’t yet needed to face the full weight of leading through both good/challenging times or it’s a hunger for power. I have yet to meet someone who was power-hungry and also a good leader. More times than not, they were leading from a place of fear/woundedness.
Also, it can be soooo lonely. What’s the phrase again? Heavy the head that carries the crown.
I’m not sure if I would call it reluctance. There are many entrepreneurs who start businesses because they like the tinkering and getting things created. They reluctantly move into the leadership role because that is what is needed. Then they are unhappy because they can’t tinker.
The same can be said about visionaries like Steve Jobs or Elon musks of the world. They may be great at casting vision and getting strategic in getting there. They can inspire
I think the best leaders are those have the connection that can build that trust that people allow to inspire.
