Do you believe in 'write fast, edit slow' or 'write slow, edit fast'? I'm not a huge fan of writing fast because the perfectionist in me believes it's not the right way to do it. But I've been noticing a lot of people who actually are able to produce more writing and quality writing at that, are doing it the other way. Tips for someone who's trying to shift her style of writing?

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals. I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. Has any creative here ever tried to make the leap to leave advertising and be a film maker, photographer, illustrator, etc.?? I’m so tired of ad agencies and how draining the “creative” can be.
