Do you ever have sudden doubts of… if God is real? Even though you have felt His presence before, and He has done miracles in your life. But for a second a quick doubt comes to your mind? Anybody? Is that normal?

On Friday morning I was outside doing yardwork and my neighbor commented, "I want to do what you do. You never work!" Luckily I was able to say, "It's Veteran's day." Instead of, "I have not been able to find work for months. Thanks for noticing."

So I'm at an agency and 80%+ of my time is new business. Pitch, win, set-up/semi-service until we get hires, move on to next pitch etc. (w/ fair share of losses too, of course). But I'm burned out. And while I'm valued, I don't see a return on my investments: personal time, my heart (I'm all in) and professional development. I get rewarded with small spot bonuses sometimes, but not a commission. So do I try to pivot to a real bus dev position? I feel confident I could. Anyone seen this done?

Did my second time virginal ultrasound today and doctor diagnosed me as blighted ovum with only an empty gestational sac. I know I am only 4 and half weeks pregnant(accurate based on last intimacy) should I still keep some hope the yolk sac is not visible due to too early stage of pregnancy and ask for another ultrasound? 😞

So.. if I put in my notice and they let me go immediately due to going to a competitor (I heard that pwc pays for the two weeks regardless) - can I immediately start at the new job? Wouldn’t that mean that I am on both payroll for two weeks? Is that an issue?

Hello my fellow extremely busy Women In Consulting - can you talk me through what first steps you took (or would take today) in living more sustainably? I'm currently in a place where I'm totally overwhelmed with life and do a lot of things purely out of convenience, but I don't want that to stop me from trying to build more sustainability in my life. My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?
