Hi Fishes,
How much time does Infosys take for rolling out offer letter. I had discussion for compensation and role on 12th August, he told that I will be receiving offer letter in 2 weeks. Today 2 weeks has been completed no update yet. Is their a possibility that they might not send offer letter ?Infosys

I regret doing mechanical engineering after joining the IT industry :)
No. Why would someone regret such comfortable and flexible job.
See compared to other jobs you are getting following benefits:
1) Comparative salary
2) Flexible timing , wfh
3) Ability to frequently change the company if you don't like.
4) Logical work & continuous learning which leads career growth.
5) Professional environment
6) Opportunity to move abroad
7) Able to live in metro or big cities as most of IT companies present here so good lifestyle.
Where else will we get these many benefits!
If you became a software engineer because someone else said so then yes you are bound to regret it at some point, not all but most people in this category will definitely regret it. For those like me who wanted to be a software engineer, like if I had 100 crore I would still want to be developing new shit - so instead I feel blessed to have a job that I love.
@infosys You are answering a question that isn't even asked nor suggested.

No, anyways the grass is always greener on the other side.
Chief
Yes, it's slavery. I didn't become software engineer for this.
Chief
Well you see, everyone is a slave to their needs and desires
Yes, I come from defence background, many of my friends are fighter pilots, commandos or regular officers. When I compare the lifestyle with them, they are actually living full life and here we are spending whole day sitting in front of a stupid computer hurting our eyes😅.
Those who genuinely wants to join defence to serve the nation won't think much about SSA. Btw coming to your question there are many opportunities outside once you get discharged from service and he has a good number of experience in IT too. I'm pretty sure he will do something because clearing SSB is not everyones cup of tea.
