I still remember all the clients who, through the years, insisted that Latino influences (music, culture, talent) could only be included in “Hispanic Market” campaigns, NEVER broad “General Market” ones. So this is quite the turn of the tides.

That person has to be on another level of delusion to not think that Latino music could breakthrough. In my eyes, it already did. Look at the influence it has had in hip hop and the melding of those two cultures. For someone to say that, I’d question their foresight and decision making abilities.
