They may not be rich. They may be stocking up. My wife and I go to the grocery once a month since it’s a long trip. We stock up and always get comments on how full our cart is or that we have two cart fulls.
You don’t know people situations. Don’t judge. It’s irritating when we get dumb comments from shoppers and workers.
I see carts like that and start mentally calculating if I can afford even one of their snacks. At this point, I think some people are prepping for the apocalypse, or just really hate running out of paper towels.
I usually assume they are a small business or something like that. The majority of people don't have money lying around to just keep endless food in their pantry. I also think about the fact that everything has an expiration date and wonder how much expired food they have in their house…
