Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I switched to tcs few months back ,here project manager told me that work will be in Angular but when I got into the project it was only html,css and jQuery. now how can i change my project as current one is not going along with my aspirations. It's a technology which now no one uses much . Under my current client all projects are based on that only . Plz suggest that how can I change my current project .?Tata consultancy sevices

I have applied to several positions up Google. I have not heard anything back at all. No matter if I customize my résumé to the job description I still don’t hear anything back. I am wondering as to why Google ghost people instead of just telling them that they didn’t get the job? Do people on Google believe it is appropriate for the recruiters just a ghost people especially if they feel they don’t match the job?

Yes, theres a process for this. 85% acceptable rate to change locations / go remote.
I know of several Nooglers who were granted an office change or remote, you don’t have to be here 1-2 years.
I thought it was 60-20-20. 60% of folks will be hybrid in their current locations, 20% will switch office hubs, and 20% will be remote.
This is accurate.
And a large majority of people who have requested relo or remote have been approved at this point in time.
In GBO we’ve been told remote will be nearly nonexistent.

What org/role? That will help us be more transparent. While high rates of approvals have occurred they have been from those submitted and many were told clearly by their orgs or based on their roles that they were not going to get approvals and not to apply.
So share what PA/Org and role and we can help you make an informed decision.
Tends to be more limited to specific set offices and less flexibility.
I believe your compensation would so be adjusted if you get accepted to New York and then transfer locations elsewhere with a different standard of living (anywhere that is not HCOL).
