Ladies, I suspect that the guy I am currently with is committed elsewhere/unfaithful and I need to confront him. I have had this nudge for a while and after attempts to get him to talk,I feel like he sweet talks me out of the convo. Any tips on how I can firmly address this without completely losing my mind coz I feel like I’m a bomb about to explode? I used to ignore little things about him but I think they are building a huge red flag.Im so depressed.
I had salary discussion two weeks ago and had shared documents with HR. I did follow up last week and HR said they will take some more time. Need suggestions on how frequently shall I follow up ? And is there any chance they might delay it further
Which employers should I target to get in operation due diligence/vetting alternative investment managers?
Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

Hello all! I am an ophthalmic technician in Orlando FL with 10 years of experience across many specialties including refractive surgery, retina and glaucoma. I was a scrub tech for 2 years and I have set up an entire practice from the ground up (entire OR and all diagnostic equipment, hiring and training staff, etc.) I am currently making $25/hour but I feel like with my experience I should be making more. Can anyone share their experience with ophthalmic technician pay rates/ranges? Thank you!

I’m finding it surprisingly emotionally taxing to be constantly fighting for ways we can benefit the community when the rest of the team focuses on ways the community benefits the company.

Ever overseen/managed someone who is basically a peer? They seem open to feedback when I give it in person, but always do the bare minimum/look to other people who aren’t even on the project day to day to give approvals even though I’m their project lead. Trying to keep the relationship friendly and collaborative, but their lack of relevant experience and willingness to follow my direction is forcing me to do a lot of rework and eating into my time. Any advice would be much appreciated!!

I'm looking for innovative ways to get my students to "publish" their writing. I've scoured the internet and know all of the basic ways - and have tried lots - but am looking for something more exclusive to our grade or class they can look forward to at the end of the year. I have lots of ideas, but would love to hear about what has worked for other middle school ELA classes. Thanks!

I’m going to be able to purchase a novel for each grade level, 9-12, this coming school year. I’m looking for suggestions. What I have available currently is pretty dated and my own personal affinity is for the more classical novels, so I was hoping to find some more modern ideas that my kids may relate to easier.
I’m finishing up The Book of Unknown Americans and would like to show my classes a movie to tie it together, but there isn’t one based on the book. Any suggestions on a film about immigrants?

I used to but don’t anymore because we moved it to middle school. Loved to teach it with the names, symbolism, political ties, mythology ties, etc. We even had our own “Question Games” we played until we had a winner. We moved it to grade 8.
Loved it and so did the kids when I was teaching middle! So much you can do with that book and then watch the movie at the end. You could also make the movie an assignment by having them compare the movie to the book
