Try to get a lean certification done (black belt) there are courses / resources available online

Do you want to learn the tools, or do you want the credential to influence your job hunt?

The tools are widely available.

If you're getting the credential, your company should be paying for it. Figure out how to sell it to your boss. The biggest problem is figuring out how to sell those weeks that you have to be out being worth it in cost savings when you come back and apply the skills you've learned.

Yes. And I honestly find it very worth it. It helped me increase my salary and advance my career.

Are you planning to get this cert? This has been on my mind. The positive reviews about it make me want to get one for myself.

Of course! It is even worth it for the company because they will also benefit from it.

Ask your company if they can sponsor you. Plus, it looks good on your resume. It lets employers know you're serious about continuous improvement.

Hi there! You need to choose first between Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma. From there, you have to choose which level suits you.

Any advice appreciated!

I don't like my job, the responsibilities and tasks aren't right for me or my lifestyle.

Key positives for my current employer are pay and security. But my new role within the company isn't working for me, and ultimately I don't think it is for the company either.

A much much smaller (20 people) company offered me a role.

With the global economic situation as is, is it worth the risk to change to a job I know i'd like more with less pay, and potentially less job security?
