I’d look at ones by African, carribean and Latina authors.

If you get a congested chest, use and onion poultice (cut up onion and put it in a dish towel and lay on your chest). It’ll draw all the mucus up in no time. Also look into this for respiratory issues in general. It may help for the inhaler situation.
I’ll definitely look into this
Curious how you reconcile this mindset with your profession. While certainly not mutually exclusive, I’d assume a nurse would skew toward western medicine over holistic remedies.
Do you mind sharing why you are using an enhaler? My mother had one due to asthma that she didn't experience until her 40s. She removed a lot of things from her diet and the asthma went away unexpectedly. I was given an inhaler for a strong cough that I was having after a cold. It went away but came back the next year after another cold. I refused to go back to an inhaler, still coughed for 3 months. I did my own investigation and determined that I had acid reflux easily removed by tums and eventually with changing my diet.
