How do companies now view candidates from Meta?
AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

I think it's absolutely wonderful. It seems like all the money from USAID was going to countries to promote gay and transgender activities. This is inline with the World Economic Forum to reduce the world population.
President Trump was elected by a landslide to perform the People's Will and he has appointed Elon Musk as his point man to reduce government waste and corruption.
USAID has turned into true government waste and corruption.
Additionally, I hope DOGE performs a forensic audit of the people who were working there to ensure that they weren't receiving kickbacks from the checks they wrote.
In response to the software engineer, that said if any of this were true, it would’ve been reported a long time ago; the whole point is that the corrupt bureaucracy and the Democrats in charge of it have kept it a secret in order to supplement their coffers. It's also my POV. I went from 100k to 139k plus bonus this year in anticipation of the work trump has done. My investments earn me about 240k this year plus a bonus. Hard work pays off and it's only boosted by business who get stuff done. Good luck this year in your sales. We need it to have projects to work on.

Pray tell Josh, what in life isn't based on politics? The OPs question could be interpreted many ways. Maybe their boss is a rotund, balding, obtuse and out of touch manager, who is letting everything around them crustify, while they fashion themselves to play a fiddle, oblivious to the truth around them. Or it is directly political and therefore pertinent to the state of hiring currently being felt by the world because of it.
