Anyone do any work in web3/blockchain/metaverse?
Any IDOs you know of or how would you stay informed on airdrops for good projects? Looking at something like Klima that airdropped 100 coins to holders of $1000 NFTs on its launch. Those coins are worth $200,000 now. 200x return in a month. Do you basically need to poke around discords and get lucky?

I’m at one of the other big DE firms. Neither of those firms does securities work (we don’t either). For M&A, Richards is better in terms of sophistication of practice, prestige, exit options, etc. YCST has a better culture and my understanding is they are pretty progressive (for DE) about giving non billable credit. At least associates keep telling me they are and how much better they are than our firm at that stuff. In terms of comp and bonuses, all of the DE firms basically track each other (on purpose) so I doubt there is much of a difference.

Of the Delaware 4, RLF and MN are tier 1, YCST and PAC are tier 2.
I agree with this for M&A.
I think it's important to see if they do their own deals or if they just do the delaware piece of deals. My sense is that rlf and yc might just be doing the delaware piece which might get in the way of lateralling out of the state if that's your plan. Out of those two rlf is more prestigious.
How much time should one spend at each firm before they’re marketable to the next shop?
Just FYI that the big Delaware only firms (including the two you mentioned) are HUGE on face time and do not embrace wfh. Fairly certain those firms are back in office five days a week. Also, from experience, pre COVID those places were very much be in before the partner you work for and don’t leave before they go home for the night.
Young conaway is in office 3 days a week right now (Tuesday through Thursday). Not sure if that’s permanent, but what they told you is at least currently true
I worked with RLF on some restructuring stuff and thought all the lawyers there were smart and pleasant to work with, fwiw
Very good friend of mine worked at RLF. Said he loved the people and culture but that he worked significantly more hours than associates at most other Delaware firms.
