A lot of random answers here, will give you a first hand perspective:
1. Don’t know about Bain and McK but BCG TC for a first year post MBA is around 200k USD. There is no income tax and COL is quite low, so it is possible to save 75% of this easily if you don’t have a family
2. Work is mostly with public sector entities in Saudi Arabia for BCG, Bain has more private sector clients (50/50 split), McK has more presence in UAE. In terms of business size the ranking should be BCG, OW, McK, S&, Bain, RB
3. BCG and Bain are quite international, McK is pretty Arab and I have never met anyone working there which is quite strange given how much I hang out with other consultants. Still I wouldn’t believe people would isolate you for being North American, really never heard of anything like this
4. Hours are probably worse than US, projects are dumber but more client facing, culture varies a lot by firms
I am European fwiw, like 30/40% of consultants here, another big chunk is Lebanese and the rest from all over the world

I already have 3 years or North America experience and am going three to support my wife who will be starting a new business.
At Oliver Wyman it was pretty lucrative - from what I remember it was US base / bonus but you got a 50-70k “housing allowance” on top and a very generous expense policy
A crap ton of money especially for someone coming from Canada...USD denominated, higher salary than you’d get in the US, generous expense policy...and no taxes

I know Bain Dubai, for post-MBA C1 pays ~170 all in, but it is tax free. So 170 cash.
Salaries are on par with US salaries. Just google the MBB salaries post MBA and Dubai/USA have very similar numbers. MBB don’t pay you extra for being a USA/Canada/UK citizen btw as some others alluded. Although I know that’s true for a lot of other firms in the Middle East
Dubai, just this year, passed a law forbidding companies from listing their nationality in the job description.
Seriously I can go on and talk about the various racial issues propagated by people in the region...this doesn’t just include people from the Arab world, but those from Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and South Asia...have certain characteristics of racism that they display.

Not comp related, but would also consider culture: had a WASP friend that worked at bain dubai, said his team basically isolated him by never speaking English and gave him poor reviews for not engaging with the team. Not sure your background but he had a terrible experience.

I doubt this is true - speaking as someone who has done a transfer to Dubai. Looks like your WASP friend just got a taste of being a minority and didn’t like it.
I think the Dubai salary is higher than Canada but slightly lower than US. Roughly starting at $150k USD
