Not sure about pp but once the i140 is approved (takes approx 2 years).
After that need to file an H4 ead for your spouse. Think that timeline is also 1+ years now
Highly recommend u pay from pocket if they’re not doing it.
My I-140 was filed last June and I had the option to pay out of pocket for PP (about $2400 if I recall correctly). It’s not covered by PwC but you should have the option to pay it yourself.
As for H4 EAD, your spouse can file the application (I-765) after the I-140 is approved but I-765 takes a long time to get approved. In my case it was filed end of Oct 2020 but I’m waiting for the approval.

Your spouse will get a work permit through the AOS process (independent of any other EAD she may have). However, it can take up to 6 months from date of filing the AOS application to get the permit.

One thing you could try doing is requesting expedited processing of your spouse’s I-765 application. There needs to be a compelling reason though. I’ve had them approved before based on urgent business need. But it can be a little tricky to get USCIS to even review the request. Usually they definitely will not review it until biometrics is completed (given that it is usually a precondition to actually issuing the card).
