Does anyone know of what companies are offering remote client service type roles that require a series 7 license that allow for a part time schedule?

Check out firms like Schwab, Fidelity, and Vanguard they sometimes offer flexible or remote client service roles for Series 7 holders. Might also be worth setting alerts on sites like LinkedIn and Indeed for “remote Series 7” to catch new listings. Good luck

I haven't seen much honestly. But the bigger firms usually do have roles like that although not sure if they are all RTO. Having a Series 7 gives you major value. You could also look into flexible shifts or contractor roles.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

(1/2) I started a new job less than a month ago at a large firm with a significant pay increase. I work remotely- which is a special arrangement. They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. A bunch of the attorneys dropped not so subtle hints that people who work from home are causing all kinds of problems. I don’t know what to do.

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.
