Does anyone know what the ATS system is looking for in Capital One resumes? I have applied for a few of their corporate finance positions and checked that I match the position 75%+, but in come cases I get a rejection within 24 hours. I just wondering what exactly are they looking for?

It’s crazy market, with this direct application. All companies are expecting perfect match where leaders don’t have to do anything and expect new hire does everything what’s in job requirements. It’s crazy.

Truly bad market and that’s why I started focusing more on my business rather depending on this 9-5 job.

I have applied at Capital One also and same thing. Now all these automated system does not know how to qualify and rejects. Also the same positions come back over and over again and in rejection email they write that they have move forward with other candidates. What a waste of time and energy.

Maybe they’re not “real” jobs. Wells Fargo has been found guilt of this fraud in recent history.

Since you’re stating that you believe that you’re a fit, your resume probably isn’t ATS friendly. I would use a resume checker… Resume Genius, Resume.co, etc…

like

I have already use a resume checker. I ran it through the program before submitting and make sure I was over 75% qualified. So it’s not that it’s ATS friendly.

like

I think the other user is right, maybe your resume is not ATS friendly. But, in the meantime don't human eyes still review the resume after ATS?

like

I was wondering, if a higher applicants number the bar can go beyond 75% of required match.

How is your resume formatted? If it has too many alignments where some information is on one side, the software will miss that entire section. I would suggest YouTubing how to pass the ATS system. There are a few videos with some hacks and some that show you what Resume format works best. Select a classic style without all the unnecessary boxes. It should flow across the page. You also want to aim for over 75% when you scan your resume.

To everyone saying the resume isn’t ATS friendly, I ran my resume through a resume checker to make sure it’s ATS friendly and also that I’m 75%+ a match to the job description before applying. Still rejected within 24 hours

Are you sure you’re competitive with respect to other corporate finance candidates? There’s more to it than checking the boxes on the job posting. In this macro environment, even CapOne is probably looking for more competitive prior companies, T20 education, etc. and going to pay at market, probably not more

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

What do you include in your competitive audits? (Not creative)

Hi all, I’m currently a solution architect with 1yoe and two bachelors degrees. I also hold two cloud certifications and make 60k a year. This seems very low considering what I’ve seen for average SA salaries for those who hold the AWS SAA certification. Was hoping for some insight on this and if I should seek more compensation. Thanks!

My school deliberately cut the number of classes that the specials teachers teach so that we could be building subs for quarantined and sick teachers (we are hybrid). So... I teach fewer classes (which is a relief because specials teachers teach way more classes than core teachers normally) but I'm pulled for most of my planning periods to babysit classes. I need my planning periods so I can redo my ENTIRE curriculum... and I just feel unappreciated, used, and nothing more than a babysitter.
