I don’t work there but live in Nash. Moved here one year ago from Cali. Can confirm we love it.
The cost to live, the beauty of the landscape, ability to get to a lot of cool places easily (via car), the music scene and industry, more laid back than Cali, the traffic (people from heee think it is horrible - I can assure you it is not and I’ve lived in SF, Chi and Detroit), did I mention the cost of living (haha). Don’t get me wrong, I loved Cali, but we are very happy here. It feels more like home (even though we have zero family here).
Are they hiring?
Yeah, according to their website.
Nashville agencies are very different than major city agencies. I got bad vibes from almost all of them.
Thanks for the insight!
I currently work and live in Nashville. I’m not originally from here so take my opinion as you will. I’m not a big fan of Nashville. Everyone sites cost of living but in my experience the salaries here are pretty stagnant and I don’t find percentage on income for housing and transportation costs to be that different than other places. I don’t know your political affiliations, but I would take that into consideration. It’s just very different from actually big cities. I know a lot of people that move here from all over so I know some people that stayed and many that have moved back. For most of the city you need a car to get anywhere and the public transportation is very lacking (a big negative for me). For me the traffic is bad (not worse than LA) but it depends on where you live honestly. I would compare it to SF but again depends on where you live and where you’re going. I also don’t feel like there’s much of a culture but again I’m not from here or that into country music. I’m happy to elaborate or answer any questions but in full transparency we are actively trying to move to the west coast (post pandemic) so probably not the most unbiased of person.
