What’s a reasonable amount to coinvest in a PEs fund? ~$300k nw

You need to be an accredited investor to even be able to legally invest in PE. So either you need a net worth of over $1M or a minimum of the past two years individual income > $200k/year or joint income over $300k/year.

If you qualify you still need to meet the requirements of the individual funds. Many have a minimum investment amount of $25M, and you typically can't access the money at all for a minimum of 10 years. You can maybe find the rare find with a requirement as low as $300k but they're extremely unusual.

Odds are pretty good that you're not going to be able to invest in PE funds at all at this point.

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

As a buyer I know I can switch firms with seller’s consent and it won’t impact the deal, or will it? The agent said if I went with him he’s throw me an additional incentive to close with him.
