I’ve been in HR for 8 years… started as a coordinator … moved into org development and have been an HRBP for the last 4 years ish. I’ve been in a new hrbp role for 6 months supporting a new client. Anyways… this is the first time I’ve ever been unhappy at work and I can’t tell if it’s the client (they have a tendency to jump to conclusions and publicly share their opinion), increased scope, or if I dislike the role. I have a lot of work these next two weeks. I needed to work this weekend to get some of it done… in the end, I barely have worked this weekend. And I feel really guilty about it. I’m 37 and TTC for 18 months to no avail. My AMH is .9 and we have low sperm count. The fertility clinic were at said IVF is our best option based on the test and my age. Is there anyone out there with low sperm count that had luck with anything else, or natural? We’re on our third IUI and moving to IVF next month. I feel like there were no other options given, they didn’t even recommend a urologist. Has anyone had luck with the urologist? I know I need to be my own advocate but I’m overwhelmed.

What does interview loop mean? I’ve never heard this term before. Recruiter who is US based told me “I’m in the interview loop.”

For those with company equity or unit incentive programs, is it common to forfeit vested equity upon voluntary departure? Explained as a “retention tool” but essentially held captive by a payout since the contract says equity doesn’t fully vest at 100% until the company is resold. If I quit at any time before a sale date, I lose all of the equity that has already vested. This was offered to a few employees in leadership but feels like not that great of a deal to me. Is this normal?

My org is rebranding, and in short, the new visuals suck. My sr designer told me my entire team wants to quit. Personally, so do I. Leadership made all the decisions without involving me, and has basically told me my job is not to have an opinion but to execute on the new direction. This is hilarious to me given that last year we were pushed to become more strategy-driven.

I know we all probably just need to leave. But in the mean time im losing my sanity trying to do my job. Any advice?

Interviewing for a mid-level producer role in-house at an established/well known tech company, NY office. I’ve only ever been agency-side so really have no idea what to give as my salary expectations. 5 years experience, currently at 100k. Benefits are comparable (except now I’ll get equity). But I hear that at both brand-side and tech you can expect higher. If I asked for 140k would I be laughed out of the room?
