It does. Again depends on budget and position offered. They matched my CTC and designation 1 up
What was the role offered and the CTC they provided? I am being offered D1 band in Capgemini Invent but they are only able to provide 35.5 as CTC including 15% variable.
If you have already shared your initial letter of 30 then the chances are low. It's not about the money, it's about setting an example. They can easily give 4 more but by doing this, HR can set the wrong example for your team hence chances can be low.
I also left CG this year and they refused to consider my later offers. Same happened with my colleagues too.
