5k isn’t much for citi. It was such a pain in the @$$ when I joined cause the recruiter and HR rep were so slow to respond. Give it time, HR here sucks and they don’t know how to do their job. On the bright side, your team will be great. A lot of smart people at citi but you don’t find them often in HR
Sometimes it takes time. Don't worry. They will contact you back. $5k isn't something big for you to lose an offer.
Interestingly, this is like the second or third post I've seen about Citi being slow on offers - looks like its' a wider trend? I agree that 5k shouldn't really be that much of a dealbreaker so it might just be in final approvals before the official offer comes out
No chance they have a hiring freeze or may put one in place soon?
I don't think a $5k differential would be enough to fumble the bag. They're just taking their sweet time with the applications. I've been noticing a few posts that had been complaining about Citi's slow process.
Yes they are very slow moving. I would not stress about it until you haven't heard back for several weeks. Like everyone above said, that isn't really asking for too m uch.
I'm pretty positive citi will agree on your last negotiated amount. 5k differential isn't that much of a difference. Anyway, as some people here have said I think Citi is a bit slowed down on their processes recently.
I feel like that's the normal time frame at Citi right now. I mean, it might even take longer than that. Just give them a month but you can continue with your job hunting.
