EY applies for your GC when they feel like it and whenever you have a Partner backing you.
My Deloitte friends start that process after 1 year with the firm
I think all you need to be is senior because staff won’t get through the wage determination process and Deloitte won’t be able to prove jack shit in the Perm process. But once they think you have a chance (senior) they do apply and support you all they can. Thats one thing I love about this company. Plus worst case, they will move you to another country and bring back on another category of visa.
I believe you have to be with the firm for at least 2 years and make senior to be eligible for gc. If you are experienced hired, someone told me that you just need to be with the firm for 6 months.
KPMG doesn't start the process till manager or a year before manager of you have a partner backing you
They can’t apply for a GC within one year of your h1b cap (i.e after you’ve been in the states for 5 years)
(Though that might be an EY requirement, not USA gov)
That's very helpful! How about PwC and KPMG, anybody knows
PwC is after 1 year. KPMG is after 18 to 24 months
One of my friends in kpmg said they wont sponsor gc until she makes manager. But it’s probably just her case.
deloitte sponsored mine after 6 month. I was a senior 1
Hi Deloitte 2, does the firm automatically start the process for you or you need to talk to and get approved from someone?
You just put in a request online. They will review your profile in the system. If you meet all the criteria (i.e. senior & good performer), you will get approved within 1 week. No need to talk to anyone
I am a senior looking for green card renewal in a year haha. Honestly haven't even researched if I will need sponsorship. Reading this thread is making me wonder if that's a reason to not quit lol
Well, this may be only for certain office but audit green card got hold again....
Deloitte 3, have you seen any example wherein Deloitte moved someone to another country and got them back on another visa in the worst case scenario?
