Yeah before Covid when I came in my first week someone comes and sets up the cubicle or office to get it all ready like the monitors and stuff. Now with open office they don’t since we all get the same stuff. But we do get a person who orders everything for us and sets up most of the things to get started like the access request for data and the conference line and stuff.
No. When I joined my current firm the onboarding process was very involved. I had a hiring manager and a contact who set up my tech, and check-in's etc all through my probation period and beyond.
I have ALWAYS had someone who at least did some onboarding with me. A day or two at minimum.
Not all of them do. It really depends on the firm
