I just got an offer from PepsiCo Foods
for an entry level manager at L5. I did
two terms of my coop there so makes
sense. But it's for a year from now
when I graduate. The pay is $72,500
with bonus and benefits and
relocation money. I can't see myself
there but I could for more money but I
know it's the maximum they will offer.
Is this a good offer for a entry level
material engineer? And if I were to
accept the position now is it ok to
decline if I get a better offer closer to
starting?

Hi,
I was recently selected in tcs and offered 7 LPA.
Now I have another offer for 10 LPA. Can I renegotiate my compensation with TCS and ask them to match the offer.

In February of this year I was approached by a company out of Colorado that’s an AWS reseller (I love working w/ AWS Products). They offered a great 6-figure salary, unlimited PTO, full medical/ dental & Wellness benefits. Things felt too good to be true at first yet I know my worth and thought about time, a company finally saw my worth also, so I resigned from the company I spent over 12+ years with. Things were going great, then June I was placed on a bogus PIP (fully Corrected) then laid off.

So I was promoted into my position and agreed to start at $65K, which is about $10K lower than the bottom of the salary grade (the range for this specific job at my company is $75K-$98K). I’ve been in this position for right at a year and I know I’ve done a great job. My manager is always getting compliments about my work, and I get a lot of recognition from upper management. I also got a performance bonus recently. I’m wondering when and how I should bring up the topic of a salary increase?

Happy Wednesday, all. @Managers, what would you want to see from an employee in your team when they're requesting a pay rise? I guess this is two fold - firstly, how would you distinguish between multiple employees on who should receive a pay rise? And secondly, what can that employee do to make it easier for you to advocate for them to your own management? Thanks in advance for your tips!

And how can he eventually delete all data fast and shrink the database successfully?

Having a hard time getting acclimated to my new firm. I came from a small firm where the training was more straightforward. This new firm has me on an engagement with a manager and the manager is less than helpful. The training has been less than adequate and I don’t feel like I’m getting anything done. I completely obliterated the budget it seems like based off of the schedule they put me on. I just need to vent and let anyone who is a senior associate and up. Help your new hires.
