Does IBM do background verification based on UAN service history?? Do they ask for a UAN number to check the service history? Because I am not showing one experience in my resume and not discussed that company in the interview as well , plus I am not using that experience.. but its overlapping one of my experience in UAN history

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now.
