Please provide your thoughts and suggest whether I should change 1. My role or 2. Request for more pay
Thanks in Advance!Wells Fargo

Which MPD? Also which federal agencies and at what level? Federal LEAs have uniformed and agents and they generally have different pay scales. Most agents are on the GS scale and (depending on your qualifications (education and experience)) will enter as a GS-5/7/9/10 and have their journeyman set at GS-13 (journeyman = top performance pay grade excluding leadership positions). You also have steps within each pay grade, which depend on years of service within that grade. Most federal agents will also get LEAP which is 25% extra pay for unscheduled overtime.
Depending on the agency and mission set, there may be extra entitlements and pay. It really depends.
To give you a better answer, can you clarify:
1. Uniformed, Special Agent (1811/2501), or inspection/compliance (1801/etc)?
2. What’s your highest education level?
3. What kind of mission set do you want to have?
4. Which MPD are you referring to (city/state/country)?
Which one? I think it depends on the level and state.
Well, yes. At least 13% higher than the national average. Where are you specifically planning to apply?
