Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. No, and if you meet up with colleagues for lunch or dinner, make sure to check with your leader that you can expense. I know folks who are getting expenses denied since it is not a “true” business purpose.
I’ve been there 2 years and never met my team or been able to travel even for a customer.

IBM1, that's a sad attitude to have. No reason not to have fun at work, enjoy camaraderie with peers. Life is short.

Not lately. Blame the economy
Nope, but I’m okay with that. Better than traveling once a week and being forced to have dinner with people I don’t like.
Employees do coordinate their own, there are slack channels for different areas and folks connect that way pretty often.
Also, depending on your team, there is at least one team offsite per year (obviously dependent on the economy and other factors right now)
My area does a meet up like once every quarter. Bowling, top golf, etc. usually capped at 50 people and fills within an hour or two.

No. Prior to pandemic yes, a nauseating amount of social activities. Now none, it was only recently to even getting customer facing travel and entertainment covered.

Depends where you are. Some locations are more active than others.
I work at Salesforce as a remote employee. I’ve participated in events organized for people outside of major hubs. From my experience it depends where you live. If you’re anywhere near an office (I live about an hour away from a small office) you can also join in those activities if you want.
