Does staying more than 4 years at the same agency in basically the same title make me look stale, even if my portfolio has grown? I can't tell what the right thing to do these days is. Some say loyalty glows on a resume, and some say varied experience is more valuable. What advice would you offer to me?

While I have been the only designer who does almost everything from design, UI asset creation, wiring up UI in Unity (I am in mobile gaming).
Also the product I’m on has been in MVP stage, things move extremely fast and design decisions changed constantly. He’s not on my team.

I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.
