Does work experience at FAANG or MBB look better for mba admissions?

What are some good jobs for entry level in Charlotte that pay well for business marketing majors who are finishing up their MBA. The MBA is in business analytics and financial management.

Is the ETS GRE-GMAT converter accurate? My GMAT is above medians everywhere but I don’t know how much it matters.

Do any of you have an employer that covers tuition benefits? I want to get a Ph.D. but I don't want to pay for it.

Just wondering if others have a clue what’s going on. We have been told nothing about how we will do our job this year. Or if we even have a job. Our school is doing in school for K-6 and hybrid for 7-12. I’m not sure if I even want to be there. It’s very concerning to me.

Currently a MS in Finance candidate. Got into the MBA program with a finance concentration at the same school - Johns Hopkins. Don’t care about target , non -target (already happy with my role, industry, firm). What’s more valuable in terms of longer term prospects between the two degrees? Any thoughts or guidance?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? Graduated 3.4 UGPA in engineering and economics from a non-target school. 3 Years experience. If I am aiming for M7 how much of a stretch is that and what kind of GMAT score?

Any tips, tricks for GMAT and using Magoosh effectively? I’m a month-ish out of test day, and using Magoosh... my practice test says 660 (although I did much higher on GMAT math than Magoosh math).
