Account Manager, Chemicals Industry (upstream somewhat commoditized stuff), 5 yrs experience, WFH (in GA), $127k base, 20% bonus (≥10% achievable), $11k car allowance. Travel maybe 20% of time. These sort of positions in chemicals industry are quite available. Don't necessarily need chem degree. It's more about relationship skills and business acumen.

As an IC? If anyone here says they know of a place, I’d love to hear.

A six figure base + variable compensation WFH is dreaming IMO. That’s like finding a needle in a haystack. This market isn’t great either.

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?
