Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

Ask him why he's not in an airline lounge... oh that's right, because the access you get with that card is only to shitty lounges far from your airline gate. #uselessperk #overrated
It's a great card regardless of lounge access. Bragging about having one is pathetic, though.
Do you think that gets him laid though
It's really great overseas... the lounges.
Other than the (now gone) signup perk, what is so great about the card? I just can't reason with paying $500 a year for a card.
Eh more like 780 tbh
Lol that guy is an idiot more than a douche. You need a good credit score that's it. Mine is about 770 and got the card no problem. And the lounge access is meh, only a limited number of lounges and some are in different terminals so you have to go back and forth in the airport. Also you need the lounge access card to get in. Csr customers must have the priority card. Only card worth bragging about is the black card.
Does it have 4th night free benefit? I have Citi prestige and it has pretty much same benefits and fee listed above but if you stay 4 nights they refund you one day on your statement. Great if you are a staff and staying in one place for the entire week. Not so great when you get to manager level and only show up for a couple days. They recently removed the airline club benefit but who really goes to the lounge at a domestic airport anyway
Other than the $300 reimbursement (I forgot about that... calendar year too, not anniversary year, so that can be nice if you time your application) the rest of the perks are received if you're a loyal frequent flyer, so it's not necessary the greatest card or travel. All the Chase cards have the various insurance and no foreign transaction fees, and my airline paid for my global entry and they give me lounge access when traveling internationally with my status, so, good card, just not all that and not not worth bragging about.
What do you even need to get one of those....like a credit score of 600?
$300 travel reimbursement, $100 reimbursement for global entry, 3x points on restaurants/travel (which is loosely defined), no forex fees, travel insurance, trip delay insurance, lounge access (as mentioned above, lounges outside the US are really great and convenient)... I definitely think it's worth it. And the signup bonus was fabulous. I'm definitely one to talk up the card but I also live outside the US currently and use it for trips home as well as trips abroad as no forex fees with the financial products i have available to me is really not common where I live.
Definitely not
It's a great travel card. Probably the best you can get as a young adult
Even with the reduced sign up bonus
^no 4th night benefit, but bonus for spending and point redemptions for travel are better.
Good for team dining, 3x points
Black card 😍💦
