When people misspell my name...

Hi my IBM sharks 👋🏻
Has anyone being on bench received automated mails from RoBoT_System@xxx.mail.ibm.com and been told something like this-
"This is in continuation of the multiple e-mails on the subject, right since you were 45 days away from your last assignment closure date. We expect that you understand your personal responsibility to get assigned to a relevant project within IBM, and also expect that you take steps to achieve the same"
Is this something to be worried about?

This thread is interesting, strange and hilarious all at one time. I will be honest, there are so many lunches out, client dinners, breakfast meetings, etc that sometimes a simple sandwich and chips sounds really good. Eating out every meal gets old after a while - the ham sandwich is breaking the monotony!
I think there certain assumptions that exist about lifestyle of PPEDs. They (you) eat gold off gold, defecate gold, and then eat more gold chased with fresh blood of staff, seniors, and managers. Sr managers do not donate blood cause they're already being trained for eating gold etc.
They're plenty of partners in our office that dress rather simply, drive cars suitable to mortals, and eat freaking sandwiches. OP gotta grow up.
I stand for Partners' right to have a sandwich, be it turkey, roast beef, grilled chicken, tuna, BLT, Bologna, breakfast sandwich, cheese dream, tuna melt, avocado toast, chicken quesadilla, burger, cheesesteak, clam roll, chowmein, club, crab cake, Cuban, cudighi, dagwood, Denver's, diablo, fluffernut, frenchdip, fried brain, Gerber, ham and cheese, hamdog, dog brown, hotdogs, italian, Mexican, French, curry fry, chicken tikka, pizza role, jalapeno role, cuzzini, munchies, hero sandwich, hero burger, open face, side face, mixcurry, plaid, stripper's delight, roast pepper, California classic, falafel gyro, halal sub, goat cheese... or even a ham sandwich
This is a "partner track" type of post
Maybe their favorite food is a ham sandwich?? Why the hell of all things does this make you so uptight? There are at least 1,000 things I would complain about before this. Geez.
I love sandwiches. Seriously. It should be it’s own food group for me.
Drives me crazy when I see a manager making snide comments about what his/her coworkers have for lunch.
I know a partner who refuses to be in debt. Working through college she took on student loans but paid them off fast and worked to buy a house with as little a mortgage as possible. Buys cars outright, without loans. So she brings lunch from home, hardly ever eats out. But, she grew up poor and refuses to ever let herself feel like that. That said though, when we have a trip, she splurges on team dinners and never forces anyone to do what she does or makes judgement. You never know what someone’s mindset is and why. Just mind your own business.
Love your reply!!! And hate judgmental people!!!
Wait till OP learns what warren buffet eats for breakfast every day
Years ago a friend of mine had the chance to have lunch with Charlie Munger and some other new staff. They were thinking they’d be going to a steakhouse. Apparently he took them all to McDonalds and about half of them couldn’t cope. Those who did passed the test.
I need a Safe Space to eat my ham sandwich...
Wellness room!
How do you feel about partners driving a Corolla?
if i was the CFO I would get more advice from the partner on cost cutting. obviously.
I’m Pro 🥪 Choice. We must defend a Partner’s right to chews.
I’m more of a pbj and Cheetos guy myself.
I pour them in my mouth straight from the snack sized bag, like a savage.
You never know. Maybe the partner overspends what they are earning and are making certain cuts, or they have specific food preferences. Why are we even talking about this?
Exactly.
Since when are ham sandwiches not “something good”? What ham sandwich hurt you as a child?
Ham sandwiches are boring af, there's no arguing that point. There's this element called "seasoning" that most audit teams are too basic to enjoy yet. There's also "spice", but baby steps.
Just because you’re wealthy or well off doesn’t mean that person will want to or should necessarily splurge on things.. the rich are rich because they use their money wisely ;) some obviously splurge but it all comes down what holds more value for them
if the ham sandwich is fresh baguette and a mix of parma and black forest ham, i will eat that every day
Maybe jamon serrano is more partner like?
OP- I totally agree. Each partner makes at least 250k and up. It’s okay to splurge $10 a day to get a decent lunch.
Wow people-bitter much? Save it for the Arugala salad (that you bring from home...).
Bad day to be a partner, make too much and don’t spend enough.
And building castles out of ham sandwiches
The director at my firm always complains about how the lunch in our building is overpriced and how he can’t afford it...like what bro?
Having money and being able to afford it is fine but I respect people more that can afford it but realize that it’s overpriced and can make a 1/2 a weeks worth of food for that amount 🙃
I’m dying. Is this really a post?
You’re drive to Crazytown is apparently quite short.
It drives me crazy that there are so many people who care so much about what others are doing when it doesn't impact them. See a counselor or get a hobby.
