Interviewing with a few companies and if I do get an offer, I will start in early January 2022. My wife and I are expecting our first child at the end of May. When would it be a good time to bring up that my wife is pregnant once I’m on a team? How long should I take off?

I’m an SC but have no MBA. At this point (29, married and expecting kids, have a house) is it worth it for me to pursue an MBA? I have a lot of family responsibility coming up so not sure if I can afford losing income for 2yrs and take on 100k+ in debt. Am I thinking too short sighted? Will having an MBA have a dramatic impact on my career here at Deloitte? Figuring this out is my New Years resolution next year.

Check Glassdoor reviews. When i was reached out to about a year ago, all were either 1 or 5 stars which is a major red flag. The 1 stars implied that they 'pressure' new analysts to write 5 star reviews and was a terrible place to work. Also pretty sure they didnt have a US office at that point. I withdrew from the process
As mid/senior hire, I would hope you make your decisions by doing research and speaking with actual employees vs. reading anonymous posts on Glassdoor or FB. Everyone's experience is different and Elixirr is definitely not for everyone. Anonymous reviews tend to skew negative as disgruntled employees are most likely to rant than happy employees spending their time writing about how happy they are. That said, it is a tough and challenging performance-driven environment. Perhaps even more so than MBBs. Lots of people don't make it but also lots of people can be promoted within 12 months of joining. Meet as many people as possible (past and current) and hear their perspectives directly. Most definitely ignore the posts from folks at other firms that begin with "I heard..." As you get towards the tail end of your process and have an offer, feel free to reach out to any partner directly via LinkedIn (especially if you are looking at US). Unlike other firms, I guarantee, the partners will respond and be willing to speak with you.
As a manager/principal, what are the KPIs that one would be measured against?
Yes, they allow remote. I have 7 years experience there. I was just laid off.
From my experience working with the firm, they need serious direction. It’s similar to watching chickens scurry around with their heads cut off.
Is your experience as employee or client?
Depends if you are the type of person who would end up liking it and giving it a 5 or not! I am, and happy to chat if you like
I'm also there and would give it a 5 🤷♂️
Similarly happy to chat if you want. It has been a great move for my career and is somewhere I'm proud to work
Hi, could I DM you? A recruiter reached out and I’d like to understand more. I’m based in the Uk
