ERP consultant (NetSuite) at boutique logistics firm. We get $1,000 per year to take a course or professional dues related to job. I already have an MBA. Ideas?

Daily duties

ERP, IT, DevOps
Programming (Javascript)

Manager track

Project management, AGILE (SDLC etc)

Firm related

Subject matter: logistics / supply chain APICS

Own Interest

Data: R, Python, PowerBI

Leaning towards APICS as it would help me get on cross-team projects. Or I could pay for a premium Netsuite course

Do you have NetSuite’s developer certification yet? I think that’s the best thing if you work in it daily and would like to exit to a NetSuite based role.

You might ask on the NetSuite subreddit. It’s pretty small, but there are a few NS consultants there that would respond to you

What book have you read that was helpful for your career and/or that you would recommend? Could be a technical book, management, etc. For me, it’s a book I read a few years ago: The Phoenix Project. I never thought I would read and like a novel about DevOps but I recommend it to all my managers.

Currently stuck in risk but interested in Cyber. Have done one related engagement from a regulatory perspective. But a lot of posts here making me think it’s harder to break into than I expected (non-technical background). If you had a six sigma green belt / supply chain degree/exp., would you still go through the effort of going into Cyber or take easy risk money being offered / easier transition back to supply chain? 2-3 YOE and trying to decide career course, any advice highly appreciated

Or let them terminate me so I can claim salary of three months as fnf settlement? Getting confused, please suggest.

Recently interviewed with another company as a Vendor Mgmt partner. Individual contributor, high visible position with potential. Thoughts?
