The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Good bonus. Low salary.
That looks like a standard CPI offer
Just for reference, not bragging:
Director in a T3 city doing tech implementations at a B4
Experience: 10 years B4 experience / 3 years industry experience
Base: $280k
Sign on: $40k
Bonus: variable, but not as good as 35% guaranteed.
Feel like 280k is SM territory but maybe that’s for HCOL. Suppose the ranks might overlap a bit too
Rising Star
Agree with EY1.
How have A&M bonus payouts been the past two years?
It’s individual dependent and based on collections/ billing
What kind of base did you guys expect?
They’re probably EYP. Managers don’t make that much in other branches.
Must be CPI
Corporate performance improvement
Without the group it’s hard to know. If it’s not collection based that seems about right
It's not collection based
Bonus is guaranteed at 35% for 1st year. Was told its 20-60% typically based on performance. Was also told base ir top of band and that's in line with the band posted on the req
What group?

10 years of random experience? Or all 10 years relevant to this role? Titles don’t mean much, but the base for a “director” in NYC is not that strong. However, if you need a job, obviously take it.
Is this an a&m offer or are you exiting from A&M?
A&M offer
Run!
Why?
Depends on what you do. Is this some niche topic or are you more of a generalist?
This is good info. Thank you! It's niche as in its not your typical A&M offering. Its a completely new business line. NYC is expensive and they adjusted numbers to get my total comp to 320k. Should I be asking for more base?
Bleh. Probably good in lower cost of living area, but not good for NYC.
Sounds like CPI
