Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.

Same story... I joined ZS in 2013 and developed PCOD in 2014... I left the firm but this PCOD is permanent

True. Sue ZS
Exactly the reason I left ZS, it’s not worth it sister. Trust me. There are other wonderful organisations where you can work, learn, contribute, and grow. For the long run, the work style at ZS, and the grind is NOT worth the cost of health.
It is.
Did you set really high expectations with the manager from the beginning? Like working extra hrs, on weekends etc...?
If yes, then WLB will go for a toss for you in any company not just ZS.
They don’t have time to indulge in petty conversations.

Oh
I had resigned within a year. I have always been a star performer but here ppl have a habit to let you down than rising further up. I got too stressed and it didn’t make sense to me at the end . I realised this is not a place for me and not worth it either. I had to literally take a break to recover .
This is so true, the unsaid pressure of going over and above every time is a lot. Like how can I up skill and perform better if I am barely getting time to breathe. Now while leaving I have also taken some buffer time in-between joining to just give some time to my mental and physical health.
WLB? Wo kya hota hai🥲🙂

Office job and diabetes ka kya connection?
I agree, I joined during COVID and got diagnosed with PCOS in 2020. Crazy hours on weekdays, there are days where I just work, go to sleep, wake up and work again.
Had multiple connects with seniors but nothing worked because my team is bunch of workaholics.

Wow
I was in the same boat, ZS really pushes you with the load and stress, so glad I moved.
One thing I also noticed there was that you hardly see middle aged women in the office, they’re very less in number, its hard to stay there specially if you have to give time to family.
WLB at ZS is never a possibility i too had my mental state gone haywire due to this 7 year back and its still the same
Can relate. Add PTSD as well on top of that!
