Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.
How's the wlb here?

Almost never forced work weekends unless I’m working on a pitch or something else major. That happens maybe 1-3 times a year.
Sometimes I work weekends on my own accord because I’m bored an/or I’m excited about what I’m working on

Similar. Rarely have to..a few times a year for a pitch or big client meeting. May work to get ahead. [currently watching compliance videos while i clean my apartment 😴]
Almost every single weekend since the beginning of the year.
Not a single weekend, but I'm not a creative.
Ever since I traded agency life for in-house, none. 🙏🏻
My story: One night last year, I worked until midnight for a few nights straight.
Next day, I needed to step away from work for an hour in the late afternoon.
Boss via text: “I just slacked you 15 minutes ago. You haven’t responded and I can’t seem to find a vacation or out-of-office notice from you.”
Since then, my weekends and evenings have become sacrosanct. If I’m asked to work, I just say “I can’t.” And they do t dare pull the “not team player” nonsense in my performance reviews.

Zero. Expect for occasionally organizing some things Sunday night for like 30 minutes.

I personally haven’t worked a weekend. Work smart.
What’s a weekend?
Almost all to some degree but only once a quarter “weekend ruiners”
Very rarely unless it’s a pitch. Only once this year.
All of them except for three weekends this entire calendar year.
None!
An anomaly...
Maybe 1 or 2 out of 4, usually. But only a few hours in the evening or something. Generally only when working on a big project that I’m having a hard time concentrating on during normal business hours.
Unfortunately, I’m very much a night time creative, and thriving on 2 a.m. design can only be an occasional occurrence.
3 out of 4
Usually zero as far as significant work unless there’s a major pitch. Cleaning up emails or throwing a random hour into a deck happens sometimes but that’s also mostly on my own accord.
0 haven’t in a years ! For real :)
Rising Star
I work a month every weekend it seems.

14 weekends last year. So far 1 this year
One or two. But the number of hours I put in varies. Sometimes it’s two. Sometimes it’s six. But very rarely is it my whole weekend.
