Hi everyone, I got hired on as entry level sales operations role back in January. It quickly turned into sales, and eventually all the sales for the small company once the head of sales left. I am happy to take on the additional role for my company, and they are going to let me. But they feel that without multiple people in a sales department the title head of sales might not be the best title. I have input in what my updated position title and salary would be. I have an Interview with Atlassian for a pre sales solutions engineer role in Canada that requires 5-8 YOE . What's the salary range I should be aiming for ?

How realistic is it to land an AD position as a fresh grad (with a doctorates) and a handful of pharma & FDA interships? Context: I'll have over a year of (consistent) work experience at a large pharma company and I have prior leadership/mgt experience (< 10 yrs) in a gov't role prior to changing careers and pursuing a doctorates.

Also, whats the pay difference between Sr Manager and AD at a large pharma company? TIA!

Hello everyone I worked as a house remodeler before I got Covid now I am handyman/maintenance/property manager I would like an idea of what people are charging

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.

Im currently going through industry change.
Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? Something needs to change. Labor of love aint enough for the people in this job.

In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on. I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. Submitti bids, sourcing material, negotiating price on materials, handling post construction inspections, scheduling sub contractors, notifying stakeholders, coordinating with construction managers - property owners - building management.

I received an offer for a role that is a lot more money than I thought but I still want to negotiate and see how much more money I can get. What can I say if the salary is already above average for the role in the market and city I live in?
