Sorry I don’t have any expertise in this area. However, I’d love to know if you did anything besides just applying to get interviews with either one?

I worked at google as an EA but only 7 weeks as a contractor( i left bc Meta offered me a permanent role) been at meta 3 weeks and in this short time i Honestly yes it’s a lot of work at Meta but also is google they are both huge companies with so many tools and links. It’s just a matter of where you land in department wise and how the structure is Going. At google it was one of the busiest orgs and extremely heavy on calendar management which i didn’t really like i didn’t feel included in the business/ operations aspect. Now at meta I’m in a team where a lot of restructure support and operation work is needed, plus calendaring offsite expenses that does not go away, but i love that I’m a part of supporting implementing processes (operations work) vs google i left like a secretary just scheduling all day. It’s really hard to give you advice bc it all depends on the org, the best way you know what’s right is asking the hiring team what type of support are they looking for? What does 1 day look like for you? What are they struggling in? That way you can see what’s a better fit. Do you like structure and just jumping in to do it? Or do like thrive in caos and feel you can make a bigger impact if you fix things?
i worked at meta and left during the big admin resignation - i used to love working for them until the changed how they treated admins as far as promos/performance
What specifically changed?
