Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? It depends on which office and what they’re looking to hire for. I’ve seen Slalom bring SMs in as MDs and bring MDs in at lower levels. How many years at level, what did you do at uncle D., what are you interviewing for at Slalom and which office?

Principal/MD
Denver office here. We don’t do a ton of human capital work in Denver, so I wouldn’t set your expectations on MD. I would say Solution Principal with 8 YOE, maybe Practice Area Lead if you’ve got a history of building a practice / business. You’ll be expected to bring in some human capital work as well as be utilized about 80%
You won’t be brought in as MD. Possibly practice lead if you’ve got sales chops. Our utilization targets for SPs are too high in my opinion. They might tell you it’s lower, but we put heavy pressure on util. PAL’s have about a 50% target
