I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.

I am not ok.

I left my job without having anything else lined up otherwise I would have had a mental breakdown. I’m not even in that great of a financial place, but it was my job or my sanity. I have a final round at another firm on Monday (fastest they can do) that I would prefer, both because of the work and the pay. Is it really bad to accept one offer and then potentially cancel it if I get a better offer a day or two later?

I have an interview with an MBB for an knowledge management/specialist role. I currently work as a technology consultant for the advisory arm of a sub big 4 accounting firm. Cont.

3.5YOE; 26yo - 90k€ + fully paid company car exit offer as In-house Consultant for IT-Management. 37h/week, 30 days of vacation and as much remote work as I want.
Also after 2 years automatic raise to 105€k

Based in Germany.
Maybe some European 🐠 opinion?

Anyone else feel they have less responsibility after exiting consulting? I used to be in the room with C suite, did many board presentations etc. Now my TC is double and I’m dealing with mid-management and have less stimulating work.
