I have an offer from LTI, my joining date is in next 2 days. Today only I got an offer for higher package from another company. If I try to negotiate with LTI will they entertain in such a last moment.

PwC Pricing and Profitability practice. Senior associate offer at $123k plus 15k sign on. Offering another 7.5k if I agree in 24 hrs. Any advice where I should land?

PSA: The grass is greener in a regional firm if you can lateral over as a partner. I lateralled over last year and my billable expectation is only 1700. I have my own clients and make about 100k (after bonus) more than I did as a senior associate. The upside is probably capped because top equity partners probably make 1.5 to 2 million here but it is all worth it for the WLB. I only take on what I want to do and I help out other partners only when I feel like it.

I had two technical rounds in tcs last month and now I have got the offer letter from tcs.

But I found one thing unusual that I did not have any salary negotiation call neither any hr round.

They released offer letter directly on ibegin portal with 60% hike on my current ctc .

Should I consider this as a fake recruitement.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello all, I work for a small consumer goods company as Ecommerce Director. I’m pretty much the only one managing our Ecomm store, no direct reports but manage a marketing and Amazon 3rd party agencies for the brand. I’ve been with company almost 2 years and have significantly increased sales. In the middle of salary negotiations and just curious on what everyone thinks would be comp salary for this position: Ecomm director/ manager hybrid role. Thank you!

Currently 25 years old.
Goals:
* Own a home in a HCOL
* 2 kids (eventually)
* Retire at 50 on $125k/year.

Envelope math:
* $125k/year would require an investment portfolio of ~$3M.
* Targeting a $2M home (split with partner)
* 2 kids - $1M to raise both (including college fund, split with partner)
* $500K buffer for unexpected expenses
* 33% tax

Therefore, 6.5-7M retirement savings needed. To hit this (assuming 6% return after inflation), I’d need to save ~$110k/year.
