My post is for a lot of folks here who complain about managers not budging to negotiations and not offering package ,what you are expecting.I have one thing to say,there are lot of ibm employees who moved to kyndryl. Inspite of lot of contributions they are earning meagre salary.Now do you expect these people to hire you for more package most of time the package you are demanding is more than what these managers draw. So pls do not look at kyndryl as any other startup.Thanks.

Director = manager for EYP

Is EYP okay, or that starved for talent? Also, 200k is not director level comp…
My interpretation of this did not take into account that EYP has some weird title inflation going on, and calls their managers Directors.
Damn, so EYP is now seriously lagging in pay, we need to update it or else we are going to see more similar situations. Definitely doesn’t make sense for you in terms of pay, because you will probably make more as a SC3 and then manager promotion will come with at least a 20% bump which would make the TC a lot higher at Deloitte. I see 2 options here - 1. Take EYP offer for a faster promo and may be use the “title and new responsibility” to get a better/faster exit 2. Use the EYP offer to get Deloitte to promote you to Manager sooner
I can also guarantee you don’t get a 20% bump with promotion to Manager. It’s a fixed percentage bump for promotion that I believe is 10% or less. Your merit increase would be in addition to this.

Well, I feel like absolute shit. Another daily reminder how hard this firm screwed me.
Was the offer verbally or in written form? For EY-P, the base should be north of 200k with 20-40% annual bonus.
It’s a verbal offer at the moment. Based on my feedback they might come back with a little more. I will need to get back to them with my current situation.
