Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

EY has been a shit show for a while now. That being said, remember EY is making a lot of changes. Rectuiters have no control over others schedule. They schedule interviews based when the manager/partner in charge of that particular team/group/dept has an opening. However, those schedules change often and quickly and the last person they tell is the recruiter.
EY6 has a good point. The only big 4 I wouldn’t consider as a lateral...if I weren’t at EY.
Don’t be fooled. PwC’s exp hire recruiters are embarrassingly bad too
EY is seriously just such a fucking sinking ship. It’s laughable how KPMG always gets shit on in this app and especially with most of the heat being thrown by EY people. In my opinion EY is not heading anywhere good, people need to open their eyes
What would be their excuse for flunking out on calls they schedule with candidates with no explanations and ignoring follow up emails for weeks? I got scheduled for 8:30am calls - the recruiter didn’t call in. I got up and ready at 8:30 for no freaking reason. She did not even bother providing me the reason why she couldn’t call and simply had me call the following week. After she transferred me to the lead recruiter, the lead recruiter missed two more calls scheduled. Remember, I’m currently a working professional. I need to set time aside and step out for the recruiter or interview calls every single freaking time. All these also create unnecessary delays. They are unprofessional and incompetent. Period.
Update - the recruiter finally responded to my email simply rescheduling the call. Again, no apology or any explanation for missing the call scheduled and just leaving me hanging. I’m utterly speechless. I plan to connect with my senior manager and partner contact at EY tomorrow and express my concern. If the working environment at EY is anything of this kind, I am no longer interested.
Why you leaving the oasis (PwC) anyway?
What level?
Came across a good opportunity a while ago (a line of service I’m interested in and in the city I’m looking to move to) but at this point I’m so turned off by the recruiters
Well I wouldn’t know since my contacts did not have this kind of frustrating experience with the pwc experienced recruiters when I gave them referrals
Why is PwC the oasis?
EY TAS SF office
I am sorry you have had this experience. I have no influence over that team. Our TAS group is pretty good; if we can get our recruiting right you may like working in that group.
When I interviewed at EY one of my interviewees was on vacation the day I flew into town...recruiter just shrugged and suggested we walk around the office instead for their time slot
You don't work with the recruiters. Keep an open mind!
I would elaborate but my story is too specific but they seriously have no fucking clue what’s going on in their organization
Ugh, I’m sorry. They’re terrible.
Don’t worry, eventually they will get rid of them and keep KPMG’s recruiting team.
Sorry, what office and group?
