Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

I’m sorry to hear this. It’s such a tough market right now. I’m dealing with the same thing… was getting interviews for roles I wasn’t 100% qualified for, now I’m not even considered. Hope you break through and you’ll end up getting the role that’s meant to be. Have faith and good luck!

Trust that what’s meant for you will never pass you by. Truly. Something else is coming.
It’s not you. It’s happening to a lot of us. The recruitment process is broken and the market is flooded with talented people.

There. Fixed it for you.

Hey OP. I wish I had some advice to offer, but I’m there myself. I made it to the final round for two different places last month. Here I am without an offer in hand also feeling defeated.
It’s rough out here. But I hope you can take some comfort that you’re definitely alone.
Sending a hug!
Chin up. The right place will get back to you.
Fwiw the person they hire will also likely be less competent than you
Don’t get discouraged, just keep applying yourself, there are so many reasons outside of your control that might preclude you from the job. Ask for feedback, if there is something you could have done to make yourself more competitive, this is the chance to find out how.
Do what you must, come what may.
At some point, I stopped overthinking it; I still prep thoroughly, but trying not to get too attached, sometimes I even forget some interviews happened, they ghost anyway, lol.
Right now the market feels more intense than ever, so many talented people out of work.
If it helps, engaging on LinkedIn really helps with the algorithm. I haven’t posted anything yet, but just interacting consistently got me more recruiter messages, it helps!
there is a bias against agency people i’ve learned
This is not the case for creatives.
Market is pretty brutal right now.
Have sent in maybe 40-50 applications, which I am definitely qualified for. At director level, those are few and far between.
Only 2 interviews. 1 where the recruiter didn't send the attachments, the other one is in 2 days....
Just ended the week with a rejection for a freelance ACD role from an agency I’m way too good for. Happy 4th!
Yeah I don’t think anyone is too good for anything
Me too! My interviews for Monday got cancelled today. Pretty gutted.
Upskill and study an MBA
….lol. don’t get an mba unless your employer subsidizes or pays for it. It’s such a scam, especially if you’re not at a top program. There are plenty of people with 6 figure MBAs who have nothing to show for it.
