Feeling really burnt out, on H1B. Can't just take a break from work, also no utilization in this environment is detrimental. What can I do?

Since people make up their utilization anyway but still get the work, is it really a good metric to track?

What are some other places good for tech consulting? Heard of Canada, Amsterdam so far. Sick of the continual risk and immigration policy fear with staying in the US - looking to move!

Graduated 2018 with STEM major/extension. 3 years working, and in 2 of those years USCIS ran 2 H1B lotteries. So 5 lotteries and I still didn’t get it.

The chance of not getting it 5x in a row is ~25% chance ^ 5 = 0.097%. Insane. Also, I don’t know anyone who graduated earlier than 2018 and did not get it on the first three tries.

I have an approval notice for H1B but not filed yet. Can another employer use that? Or do they have to go through the lottery again?
