Figured a 4:30pm flight there would be no one. PHL is insane!

Has anyone taken a 1 year (or more) hiatus from the practice of law to travel, figure out what you really want to do, etc.? Was the time off helpful? Did you find it difficult to re-enter the profession when you returned? I've been practicing law for 3 years and want to look for non-firm options in the legal profession, but I know I need time to figure out what I want to do. I want my next job to be a carefully thought out and deliberate decision. Will I hurt my career by taking this time off?

Tips to stay motivated and cut procrastination? I started a new client side job remotely a few months ago at the beginning of covid. I know that I'm extremely lucky to have landed a role during shutdown, but lately my motivation has taken a hit. My entire team of two people is new, and it's definitely been odd to onboard remotely.
