Take the T. Sumner Tunnel is closed Friday - Monday morning, so Uber/Lyft will be a nightmare. Silver Line —> South Station then Red line towards Alewife will be faster than Uber/Lyft.
And I’m pretty sure it’s free if you’re coming from the airport. Big win.

I always take a cab to get home when I land at Logan. I’d expect a pretty quick ride tomorrow - probably faster than the T. The Sumner doesn’t close until late Friday night.
This is the way

If you only have a carry on, pretty simple. Catch the silver line, change to the red at south station and then it’s a few stops to central.
It’s a Friday so work commuter traffic will be light on the t.

It will take like a half hour via Uber. I’d personally still take Uber than take the T, especially with luggage

Hey A1 relax a little huh? They clearly don’t live in Boston. Glad they posted so now they know…
I don't think I've ever set foot on the silver line in 30 years

Good for you?

Honestly, it’s personal preference. Traffic from Logan to Central Square will be annoying that time of day and I hate traffic.
It’seasy to take the T if you want. Take the Silver Line from the airport to South Station and then it’s a quick walk to the Red Line and just a few stops to Central Square.
I trust the T with my life compared to uber. There’s been so much traffic at logan lately. My bf waited in traffic for 30 mins AT the airport to pick me up at like 10pm
Silver line all the way.
The Sumner tunnel closes at 11pm on Fridays and reopens at 5am on Mondays. You’d be fine taking Uber/Lyft. That’s the option I’d take since there is little Friday traffic in the morning.
If you have to walk a bit to get to your destination from the t stop i would take uber. Walking thru the city w suitcases is annoying I think.
Always cab over Uber/lyft at Logan.

Christ, it's public transportation. The bus ride to the T is clean. Blue line to government center is a pain, but the better stop. You go one down on the green to park and then out on the red to central... is it a pain? Yes. But anything to / from the airport is a PITA in Boston. Maybe it will smell funny on the green and red lines, but not really...
I'll be honest. With the train you'll almost always be moving... in a lyft you are going to feel powerless about traffic.
